The NUX NME-5 Trident Guitar Effects Processor is a versatile device that is perfect for live performances and studio work. With a wide range of inputs and outputs, it allows musicians to connect various external effects, acoustic systems, and monitoring equipment.
The Trident uses the latest TSAC-4K amplifier modeling technology, which ensures even more realistic amplifier sound reproduction. Thanks to two DSP processors (one for effects and the other for amplifier modeling), the sound is as accurate and rich as possible. High-quality analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters ensure clean sound with minimal noise. The Trident offers 27 amplifier models with detailed settings and switches for different modes.
The processor also supports impulse response (IR) with 27 pre-installed cabinet models and the ability to add up to 32 third-party IR files. The Trident Editor™ software allows you to easily edit patches, configure USB routing, and expand your IR library.
In the studio, the NUX NME-5 Trident can be used as an audio interface via USB-C connection, allowing you to record tracks directly into audio software (DAW) or reamp already recorded tracks. Additionally, the Trident is equipped with a built-in 30-second looper, which allows you to set its position before or after effects.
The processor features an effects loop on 1/4" TRS (Send/Return) jacks for connecting external effects, two balanced XLR outputs for connecting to sound systems, a headphone output, and an expression pedal input. There is also a master volume control and the ability to connect MIDI devices via MIDI In/Out.
