EBS Stanley Clarke Signature Acoustic Preamp

The EBS Stanley Clarke Signature Preamp consists of Channels A and B, which offer two types of sound settings and can be used with different inputs. Channel A accepts a magnetic or electret pickup for a double bass or acoustic bass. And channel “B” can be used with an instrumental dynamic or condenser microphone. Made entirely of premium components, the preamp delivers crystal clear, dense sound that enhances your instrument's character and acoustics. Mixing two different input sound sources can sometimes cause a phase problem. If this happens, the phase inverter switch connected to channel A will fix the problem.

Each channel has an input gain level control and a three-band equalizer with a semi-parametric middle for maximum control over all the nuances of the instrument's timbre color. There is also a special filter that will help avoid feedback, which often occurs with acoustic instruments on stage, or remove unwanted low-frequency rumble when working with sensitive microphones and pickups.

The EBS Stanley Clarke Signature Preamp also features an FX Loop for external effects pedals that can be turned on after or parallel to the amp section. Thanks to the tuner output, you do not have to worry that your “bypass” tuner will adversely affect the signal purity. The pedal has a headphone output and an AUX input, making it not only a versatile device for concerts and studio recordings, but also for rehearsals and practice on the instrument. The balanced output allows the SCSP to be connected directly to a mixing console or computer audio interface. All this rich functionality of the pedal says one thing: "there have not been such devices for acoustic instruments before!"
