Acoustic guitar preamp NUX NAP-5 Stageman Floor

The NUX NAP-5 Stageman Floor acoustic guitar preamp is an analog preamp with digital effects and a looper function. It offers a natural sound thanks to a highly sensitive 3-band EQ with a MID scoop toggle, adjustable notch filter, and input gain control. This design ensures substantial headroom without distortion.

The device is equipped with chorus and reverb effects, each controlled by a single knob. A unique feature of the pedal is the ability to activate the "freeze" effect by holding down the chorus switch. To eliminate unwanted noise and feedback on large stages, the notch filter helps reduce resonant frequencies.

The gain and EQ controls (bass, mids, treble) allow you to adjust the sound according to your amp, instrument’s acoustic characteristics, and playing style. For optimal signal processing, there is a pickup type toggle switch (piezo or magnetic).

The Stageman Floor has a built-in FX loop that allows you to connect external effects via a TRS cable. The device is suitable not only for acoustic guitar but also for other acoustic instruments (violin, mandolin, banjo, etc.).

Additionally, the Stageman Floor can be used as a looper with a 60-second recording time and unlimited overdubs. In looper mode, the Preamp footswitch controls the recording, playback, and overdubbing functions, while the reverb knob adjusts the loop volume.
