VOX AC30S1 OneTwelve is a single-channel guitar combo amplifier that continues the legendary tradition of the AC30 model, known for its unique sound since the 1960s. This amplifier offers the classic tone, but in a simplified and modern format. It is inspired by the signature Top Boost channel of the AC30, which has been the source of many iconic riffs in rock history. Thanks to its touch-sensitive circuitry, this channel provides a wide range of sounds — from sparkling clean tones to rich overdrive.
The AC30S1 uses fully tube-based circuitry: two 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and four EL84 tubes in the power amp, allowing for the reproduction of every nuance of the characteristic AC30 tone. The combo amplifier is equipped with a digital reverb that simulates classic spring reverb, and also has inputs for connecting external effects and additional speaker cabinets.
This model is perfect for guitarists who are looking for the classic VOX sound in a more portable and convenient form. The AC30S1 is lighter and more compact than previous models but retains the classic AC30 sound. With 30W of power and a Celestion VX12 speaker, this amplifier delivers a punchy, cutting tone and is an excellent choice for both studio work and live performances.
