The Yamaha CLP-845 digital piano is a premium instrument that combines the tradition of the acoustic grand piano with modern innovations to create the highest quality sound and comfort for pianists. Featuring a GrandTouch-S™ keyboard with white wood keys with faux ivory and ebony finishes, the piano provides a natural touch and response like a real concert grand piano. The Escapement mechanism adds a slight click at the bottom of the key travel for an authentic feel.
The model utilizes Grand Expression Modeling and Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) technologies that reproduce the richness of the sound, the resonance of the piano body and strings, depending on the strength, speed and depth of key pressing. With these technologies, pianists can realize tonal variations and techniques just like on a grand piano.
The CLP-845 offers 38 tones, including samples of the famous Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand pianos, recorded using binaural sampling for a realistic headphone experience. The timbres of historic pianos by Mozart and Chopin allow pianists to reproduce music as the composers heard it.
The instrument is equipped with a 16-track sequencer that allows you to record and edit compositions. Dual, Split, Layer, and Duo functions expand performance possibilities. A powerful 2×45 W speaker system with cones provides rich sound, and Bluetooth (Audio and MIDI) support allows you to play music wirelessly or control settings via the Smart Pianist app.
To record songs, you can use the USB Audio Recorder, which creates WAV files for saving and later playback. The Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC) system automatically optimizes the sound at different volumes for a balanced sound.
