The Nektar Impact GX61 MIDI keyboard is a great tool for creating music. This controller allows you to easily control popular audio recording applications on Mac, Windows, and even iOS. Thanks to its compact design, this keyboard is conveniently located and provides a wide range of possibilities.
The Impact GX61 features 61 pressure-sensitive keys, as well as pitch and modulation wheels. A feature of this controller is integration with various sound recording programs. Thanks to this, you can control various functions of your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) directly from the keyboard, which allows you to quickly capture musical ideas without distraction. To the left is a transport panel with keys that allow you to use transpose functions in 1-semitone or octave increments. There are also Play, Stop, Record, and Loop buttons and the Shift key allows you to switch tracks or select a preset with the same keys.
In addition, the keyboard can be used as a MIDI controller for any MIDI software. You can customize each of the 7 programmable buttons, modulation, and tone wheels, sustain pedal, and potentiometer to your own needs, expanding its functionality. The controller is easily connected to a computer via USB and works with any DAW without the need to install additional drivers.
