Inside the OP–XY are 8 unique synthesizer engines, 3 sampler instruments, and 8 tracks with a flexible structure. The powerful sequencer supports polyrhythms, Step Components, Punch-in FX™, and the brain™ function for transposition. You can easily store thousands of projects, switch between them instantly, and edit every detail right during your performance. Multisampler support allows you to combine multiple layers of sound to create dense, multidimensional compositions.

The device has extended compatibility: via the multi-out port, you can output MIDI, CV/gate, audio, or sync signals, making it an excellent center for controlling external instruments. USB-C allows you to use OP–XY as an audio or MIDI host, and the built-in gyroscope adds the ability to control track parameters through movement. Power is provided by a battery with up to 16 hours of battery life, and the built-in speaker makes the device ideal for mobile use.
