The Behringer JT 4000 MICRO synthesizer is a four-part, four-part instrument of the hybrid type. It features two analog oscillators (VCOs) and two low-frequency oscillators (LFOs). Sound filtering uses a 12-dB octave low-pass filter (LPF). The instrument has two ADSR envelopes, which provide flexible adjustment of sound parameters.
In terms of connectivity, the synth features a power switch on the left side, USB-C for MIDI connections, and a stereo 1/8” TRS output for headphones. Class-compliant USB connection supports operating systems Windows 7 and above, as well as Mac OS X 10.10 and above.
The synthesizer control panel includes a rotary selector with a push-to-select function, as well as buttons for accessing various menus: Osc-X, LFO-X, Filter, Amp, Arp, and Settings. The panel also has controls for controlling the filter, in particular A (for setting the filter cutoff) and B (for resonance).
