The Casio AP-550 contains 26 sounds that reproduce a wide range of musical instruments, including piano, organ, violin, flute and many others. The digital piano has modes such as Layer and Split. Layer mode allows you to use two different sounds simultaneously, layering them on top of each other. This allows you to combine a piano with a string orchestra or a piano with an accordion. Split mode allows you to divide the keyboard into two separate zones with different sounds. For example, you can set the lower zone to bass sound, and the upper zone to keyboard or string instruments. This is especially useful for duets or for compositions that require multiple sounds.
Effects
The Casio AP-550 offers sound effects and has a built-in digital processor for creative sound processing. Among the available effects are Sound Mode, which has 4 types of hall simulation (Hall Simulation), 8 types of reverberation, 2 "surround" settings that add a spatial effect. The chorus effect makes the piano sound wider, reminiscent of a performance ensemble or choir. Brilliance allows you to control the brightness of the sound, and the built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor) has preset settings for individual tones.
All this together allows the musician to experiment with the sound and create an incredible performance atmosphere.
Wireless connection
A feature of this digital piano is Bluetooth support, which allows you to wirelessly connect the instrument to other devices, such as smartphones, tablets, etc. This allows musicians to use the piano as an audio system to play music from mobile devices or even stream audio from the piano to external speakers.
The Casio AP-550 supports MIDI via the WU-BT10 wireless adapter or USB port B. This allows the piano to be connected to computers, synthesizers, or other MIDI-compatible devices.
