The Roland RD-08 is an affordable stage piano that combines the legendary sound of the RD series with modern portability and functionality. With its compact form factor and light weight (only 13.5 kg), the RD-08 is ideal for touring musicians, teachers, or home users who want professional quality in a convenient package. Equipped with ZEN-Core and SuperNATURAL sound technologies, this piano delivers deep acoustic and electric piano sounds, as well as over 3,000 tones, including synthesizers, organs, strings, and other instruments.
The PHA-4 Standard keyboard with hammer action and Ivory Feel coating provides a realistic playing feel characteristic of a concert grand piano. Four assignable controls allow you to quickly change layer, effect, and equalizer settings, as well as instantly save and recall stage settings. Built-in speakers (2×12 cm + 2×2 cm tweeters) provide full sound even without external amplification, which is convenient for rehearsals and home practice.
The control panel is intuitive, allowing you to focus on your music, and the Scene Memory function speeds up your work during live performances. In addition, the RD-08 supports expansion via Roland Cloud: new tones, effects, USB audio interface, Apple MainStage compatibility, and two virtual Wave Expansion libraries are available via the RD-08 Upgrade.
