The Kawai ES120 is a portable digital piano that combines exceptional sound quality, authentic touch, and state-of-the-art digital technology. Designed for both home and stage, it retains the elegance and sensitivity of an acoustic instrument in a body that weighs just 12.5 kg.
The Responsive Hammer Compact (RHC) hammer action keyboard recreates the characteristic response of an acoustic grand piano. Thanks to its springless mechanism and weighted hammers, the ES120 is extremely natural and quiet, with improved key cushioning for maximum comfort.
At the center of the sound is an 88-key sampling of Shigeru Kawai SK-EX and Kawai EX pianos using proprietary Harmonic Imaging™ technology, which accurately captures every nuance of dynamics - from soft pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. In addition to classical piano tones, the instrument features 25 voices, including electric piano, organs, strings, bass, and vibraphone.
Built-in Bluetooth® MIDI and Audio connectivity allows you to connect to apps on your smartphone or tablet - including the proprietary PianoRemote app for changing settings. The ES120 also features USB-MIDI, stereo Line Out, dual headphone jacks, and a reverb function that adds spatial dimension to the sound.
Ideal for both teaching and performing, it features built-in recording memory and connectivity to stage equipment. With the optional HML-2 design stand and F-351 pedal, the instrument easily transforms into a compact substitute for a grand piano in the interior.
