The Kawai ES920 is a modern, premium digital piano designed to combine an authentic piano experience with powerful digital features and impressive portability. At its heart is the Responsive Hammer III keyboard, one of the best keyboards in its class. With precision-weighted hammers, a three-sensor system, counterbalances, and a simulated piano mechanic, it delivers a natural, dynamic feel that will satisfy even professional pianists.
The instrument's sound is based on the proprietary Harmonic Imaging XL technology, which captures the full range of tones of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, SK-5, and Kawai EX acoustic grand pianos, reproduced through 88-key stereo sampling. A powerful 2×20W speaker system with premium components delivers clear, detailed sound that is revealing in both room and stage settings.
The ES920 offers a wide range of features including Bluetooth Audio and MIDI, MP3/WAV recording/playback via USB, multi-voice accompaniment with rhythm section, headphone surround sound, and OLED display. The tool supports advanced parameter editing with the help of a “virtual technician” that allows you to fine-tune resonance, noise, touch curves, temperament, and more.
Despite its rich functionality, the ES920 has a sleek design and weighs only 17 kg, making it ideal for both home interiors and live performances. Combined with the designer HM-5 stand and F-302 pedalboard, it easily transforms into a complete digital alternative to an acoustic piano.
