At the heart of the KDP120 is a keyboard with Responsive Hammer Compact II mechanics that accurately mimics the weight and feel of an acoustic instrument. A three-level sensor system, matte keycaps, and multi-weight hammers provide a natural response to the dynamics of the playing. The Grand Feel pedal system recreates the authentic feel of concert grand piano pedals, including half-pressure support for the damper pedal.
The sound palette is provided by a Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano, each of whose 88 keys has been individually recorded using the proprietary Harmonic Imaging technology. As a result, the KDP120 delivers impressive dynamics and richness of tone - from delicate pianissimo to powerful fortissimo. Realistic reverb adds depth to the sound, and the 40W stereo system delivers details with extraordinary clarity, even at low volumes.
Modern interfaces, including Bluetooth® MIDI and USB-MIDI, allow for easy integration with the PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer mobile apps. The instrument supports 15 tones, Dual and Four Hands modes, and has a built-in recorder, metronome, and practice songs. Spatial Headphone Sound technology guarantees comfortable sound in headphones with headset type customization.
The compact body with smooth lines and three finishes will organically fit into any interior.
