The Kawai KDP75 is a high-quality entry-level digital piano that combines faithful keyboard mechanics, authentic piano sound, and versatility in a compact and attractive package. Thanks to the Responsive Hammer Compact keyboard with zone weighting, the instrument accurately captures the dynamics and feel of playing an acoustic piano, allowing beginners and advanced musicians alike to enjoy the authentic piano touch.
The sound of the KDP75 is based on Shigeru Kawai's flagship SK-EX concert grand piano, which has been sampled in detail across all 88 keys. With the help of Harmonic Imaging technology, the instrument reproduces a realistic tonal palette, including dynamic transitions, reverb and resonance. A powerful 18-watt speaker system with Low Volume Balance ensures balanced sound even at low volume levels.
The piano also supports USB-MIDI connection to PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer, which opens up a wide range of possibilities for learning, viewing sheet music, changing settings, and controlling sound parameters. The built-in Alfred library of etudes and lessons, recording mode, metronome and transposition functions, and 15 tones including electric piano, organ, and string make the KDP75 a versatile tool for practice and creativity.
SHS technology provides a spatial headphone experience with a choice of headphone types. Three pedals with half-pressure support and depth adjustment are another step towards realism. At the same time, the compact body with black and white color options will harmoniously fit into the interior of any room.
