Boris Golavšek was born in the golden '80s in northern Slovenia. From an early age he was fascinated by the sound of the guitar, which led him to start learning to play himself at the age of 13. At first Boris' sound was rock oriented, but as he grew older his enthusiasm for other styles grew along with his musical knowledge and he started playing funk, metal, blues and other genres.
Boris started playing Slovenian folk music, which has been part of his profession for over 10 years. In this genre he uses only acoustic guitar. Some time ago he was asked to test a Richwood guitar and was very impressed with the quality, after which he became an endorser of Richwood Guitars.

Boris toured Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and the USA and the Richwood D-70-CEVA guitar was his faithful companion in all his musical adventures. In addition to being a touring musician, Boris is also an excellent guitar teacher.
