The NAMM SHOW 2016 preleminary broke the record in size and number of visitors. We can tell it was a busy show for sure!
A mile-stone for EBS
Even before the official show begun, EBS reached a mile-stone since the new Billy Sheehan Signature Drive Deluxe was selected as one of 20 new exciting products from the entire show to appear at the NAMM SHOW MEDIA PREVIEW day. This was the first time in the company's history we were selected to participate in this event. After all, over 6000 exhibiting companies where at the show, most with at least one new product to show!
New products
In addition to the Billy Deluxe drive, that premiered at the show, we introduced the new EBS Magni 500 combos, that are finally close to shipping out after some delays since they were originally presented at MusikMesse 2015. These great double-ported combos are based on the awarded Reidmar amps, with the clever Soft Clip technique that preserve head-room and solid tone even when pushed a little harder.
Artists
We had several great artists performing & signing at the booth. The biggest and wildest crowd came to see Tal Wilkenfeld with band play a couple songs until the Sound Police and Floor Manager came and put an end to the performance, and it continued with a little quieter signing session, that lasted over an hour. Speaking of Tal, she and her new band will open up for the Who on their coming up US Tour, so don't miss that if you're anywhere around. See www.talwilkenfeld.com for tour dates.
Other artists that appeared were Billy Sheehan, Etienne & Swaeli Mbappé, Pascal Mulot, Timo Somers, and the Rocker's Signing featuring Rudy Sarzo, Bjorn Englen and Marten Andersson.
Right here you can see the photo report and below we offer you a few videos.
Enjoy!
