test.musician.ua is pleased to announce the expansion of the range of studio monitors ERIS XT from Presonus. The E7 XT model (with speakers with a diameter of 6.5 and 1.25 inches and a total power of 140 W) will take its rightful place in the lineup between the E5 XT (5 and 1 inch, 80 W) and the E8 XT (8 and 1.25 inches , 140 watts). The new model is positioned as a studio monitor for small and medium-sized rooms. Featuring a 6.5-inch woofer and a 1.25-inch silk tweeter, the Eris E7 XT sounds much richer than the younger models in the series, though not as deep as the E8 XT.
With a similar total power of 140 watts (like the E8 XT), the E7 XT delivers dense, focused bass up to 42 Hz, even despite the compact form factor. Like all representatives of the line, this model is equipped with ELW technology (Elliptically Boundary Modelled waveguide), a special waveguide from Presonus with elliptical boundary modeling, which distributes clear and accurate sound in the range of 100˚ horizontally and 60˚ vertically to minimize reflections from surfaces and maximum performance.
The Eris E7 XT always delivers an honest sound, be it the high range or the lowest frequencies. If you need to strengthen or weaken any instrument in your mix, or if your equalizer is turned off, you will immediately hear the slightest changes. Like the E5 XT and E8 XT, the adjustment of this model is extremely flexible, offering elements of acoustic tuning that allow you to adapt its sound to the resonances of the room and the location of the monitors in space with respect to walls and corners. Eris E7 XT features XLR, TRS, and RCA connectivity.
