With the new TheONE Smart Piano app, the interaction between the user and the digital piano is much better than before. TheONE Smart Piano app is divided into three sections: Game, Course and Song.
Section «Game»
In the “Game” section The ONE gamified chord learning using a waterfall approach, allowing users to quickly gain hands-on experience and feel the charm of chords. The ONE believes that learning to play chords doesn't have to start with traditional music reading. The waterfall format, combined with the indicator lights on their smart pianos, makes it easier for users to dive right into the game in a familiar way. This was their original intention when creating the “Game” section.
The choice to have users learn chords in the Playing section rather than complex melodies is that chords are comparatively easier to grasp and provide a smoother entry point for playing with both hands. Additionally, mastering a set of chords allows users to play a variety of songs, creating a meaningful sense of progression. When users desire more than one set of chords, they naturally progress to learn additional chords or techniques. This is a desire that The ONE defines as the principle of “one step above.”
Section «Course»
Section "Course" created specifically for beginners who want to learn how to play the piano from scratch. The purpose of this section – – meet user needs starting from scratch. We consistently adhere to the principle of “one step above” in the “Course” section, with each lesson lasting 5-8 minutes. Each block guides users to reproduce the essence of a popular song by breaking down the learning gradient for familiar and popular songs, which is a challenging task. Now the “Course” section has about 200 lessons.
Section «Song»
Finally, the “Song” section. The ONE has prepared a variety of sheet music in different styles and difficulty levels to suit the needs of users. Combining this with the benefits of the backlit keys of The ONE smart pianos, users can directly “learn by doing” for a truly great experience.
