The angled edge is where the drum head meets the shell and where much of the tonal character of the drum begins. The country is hand-cut at 45° to ensure contact with the head is precise and to produce the best sound from the shell, making each drum easier to tune.

Each set is equipped with double skates that provide high stability. Each stand is height-adjustable with molded joints, and all corners lock into virtually any position you set up.
