This drum set consists of 4 drums made of 6-ply birch material with a thickness of 9 mm. It has a configuration of 22" x 14" bass drum, 10" x 8" and 12" x 8" toms, and a 16" x 16" hi-hat. It also comes with a double volume holder.
Launched just 2 years after the founding of the TAMA brand, the Superstar drums were remarkable for their dynamics and power, setting the stage for the future TAMA sound. Now, almost 50 years later, the original Superstar drums have been revived as a limited edition to celebrate TAMA's 50th anniversary.
The 6-ply All Birch Shell with 9mm thickness delivers a powerful attack and deep bottom end. Its unique nose shape helps to create a multifaceted sound that is recognized by musicians around the world.
This reproduction features the familiar Superstar logo in its original form. REMO® AMBASSADOR drum plastics feature Coated Ambassador coating on both the top and bottom for durability and high quality sound.
