Thanks to increased hammering, AAX cymbals have an extremely clear attack, shimmering sustain, and a wide dynamic range, allowing them to be used confidently in a variety of styles, from pop to metal.
The Sabian 17" AAX X-Plosion Fast Crash is a super-fast crash with a full, explosive response that redefines the capabilities of thin cymbals. Its thin weight provides instant opening and sharp, punchy accents even at low volume levels, while maintaining power and presence in the mix. The Brilliant coating enhances the brightness of the high frequencies and adds transparency and aggressive sparkle to the sound. The cymbal is made of professional B20 bronze (approximately 80% copper and 20% tin), which guarantees a rich tone, wide dynamic range, and stable musical performance both on stage and in the studio.
