Sabian 14" HHX Legacy Hi-Hats are a professional pair of hi-hats designed for drummers who value depth, warmth, and clarity in their sound. The top cymbal is medium-thin, and the bottom is medium-heavy, providing the perfect balance between controlled attack and rich click when closed with the pedal. The sound of these hi-hats can be described as dark, warm, and precise, with a soft response and natural dynamics.
The HHX series is a continuation of Sabian's dark sound philosophy. It combines traditional HH hand forging with modern processing techniques that give the cymbals a distinct musicality and depth. This makes HHX Legacy Hi-Hats ideal for jazz, fusion, soul, funk, and contemporary acoustic styles where nuance and control are important. The hi-hat is made from B20 alloy (80% copper and 20% tin) – a classic formula that provides rich tone, warmth, and exceptional durability.
