The Sabian 18" AAX Thin Crash is an explosive yet controllable cymbal with a deeper and richer tone than standard AAX models. Its thin profile provides lightning-fast response, an open and musical response, and excellent sensitivity to playing dynamics. It combines a slightly darker sound with expressive high frequencies, creating a bright, lively tone that cuts through the mix well while retaining warmth. Made from high-quality B20 bronze (80% copper and 20% tin), this cymbal has a deep harmonic structure, natural resonance, and durability designed to withstand years of active playing.
