The Alesis Crimson III electronic drum kit is a full-featured 9-piece drum system designed for demanding drummers looking for realistic dynamics, flexible sound, and extensive connectivity options. Equipped with Alesis' proprietary mesh pads, it provides a natural feel and accurate reproduction of performance nuances. The centerpiece is the updated Crimson III module with 470 tones, including sounds from the prestigious BFD library, 80 kits (40 factory + 40 user), and support for loading .WAV samples from an SD card.
The kit includes a 12-inch dual-zone snare drum, two 8-inch and one 10-inch toms, an 8-inch bass drum, a 12-inch hi-hat with a control pedal, two 12-inch cymbals with a mute function, and a 14-inch ride with three zones. The entire system is securely mounted on a sturdy steel stand with a separate snare drum holder.
Functional advantages include a built-in metronome, real-time recording, Bluetooth® for wireless audio streaming, USB/MIDI outputs for interaction with VST instruments, as well as SD card, USB-B, and MIDI In/Out interfaces. The package includes BFD Player software for Mac/PC and a 90-day subscription to Drumeo.
