The Vic Firth Tim Genis Leggiero STG2 Drumsticks are designed specifically for smooth, graceful performance of complex technical passages in concert music. They are ideal for fast playing with fine articulation, ensuring a clear sound of every hit - especially in the context of a symphonic or chamber ensemble.

This model was developed in collaboration with Tim Genis, percussionist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, for maximum sensitivity and balance. With a special tip shape and compact striking area, the sticks provide expressive tone and accuracy even in the most delicate dynamic ranges.

The STG2 is made of persimmon - a dense, resonant wood that creates a rich, slightly darker sound compared to traditional models. This wood also adds strength without excessive weight, allowing you to maintain control and avoid overexertion during your play. The large lacquer finish provides a comfortable grip, and the unique tip shape opens up a wide range of possibilities for nuanced sound.
