Drumsticks Ahead 5ABS

Ahead 5ABS is another hybrid model that combines a 5B handle with a 5A shaft, providing a good balance of power, articulation, and control. They are designed for drummers who need a slightly larger handle for a comfortable grip, but without losing the sensitivity and precision of sound characteristic of the 5A model. Weighing 53 grams, measuring 16 inches in length, and with a diameter of 0.595 inches, these sticks are versatile for both studio and stage use.

Like all Ahead models, the 5ABS are made from an aluminum core with high precision in weight and balance. The heavy-duty polyurethane coating reduces wear on the instruments and the sticks themselves, while the interchangeable tips allow you to choose the optimal sound. The nylon tip provides a softer and more musical tone, similar to wood. Thanks to the VRS system and Hyper-Form engineering profile, the sticks minimize impact on the hands and last 6-10 times longer than wooden sticks.
