Drumsticks Ahead 5BR

Ahead 5BR are drumsticks with powerful front weight, designed for those who need maximum sound volume with minimum effort. Thanks to their short taper, these sticks deliver more energy to the beat, making them ideal for aggressive playing styles — from hard rock to metal. This is one of the most durable models in the Ahead line: its service life is 6–10 times longer than that of similar wooden sticks.

The 5BR model is made with a high-strength aluminum core, which ensures precise weight and balance between each pair. The surface is covered with a replaceable shell made of special polyurethane, which protects the sticks from damage and reduces rim wear. The tip is fitted with an unbreakable ST801 teardrop-shaped nylon tip, which provides a clear and soft sound similar to wood. The sticks are 16“ long, 0.595” in diameter, and weigh 65 g. The model features a VRS vibration absorption system, which significantly reduces the impact load on the hands, up to 50% compared to wooden counterparts.
