Promark Classic Forward 7A FireGrain drumsticks are a lightweight, fast, and extremely durable model for drummers who prefer delicate playing and controlled sound. With a diameter of 0.512“ and a length of 15 3/8”, these sticks are ideal for jazz, acoustic performances, and situations where moderate volume and precise dynamics are required.

The main material is American hickory, a classic choice that combines lightness, elasticity, and wear resistance. But in the FireGrain series, this material undergoes additional heat treatment: the flame hardening process (FireGrain) makes the wood significantly stronger without affecting its weight, balance, or natural feel. This preserves the character of a traditional wooden stick while enhancing its durability.

The oval wooden tip provides a soft, rich sound with excellent response, which is especially important when playing cymbals and snare drums. The balanced Forward geometry means that the weight is slightly shifted towards the tip for quick response and better control over dynamics.
