Promark Rebound 5A FireGrain drumsticks are the perfect combination of natural sensitivity and increased durability. Based on the popular 5A model, these sticks retain their classic balance and shape, but thanks to the patented FireGrain heat treatment technology, they are significantly more durable. The heat treatment process strengthens the fibers of American hickory, making the sticks resistant to chips, cracks, and deformation without any synthetic coatings.
The sticks are 16 inches long with a diameter of 0.565", which makes them versatile for different styles. The tapered 3-inch tip creates a backward balance, giving the model excellent rebound and allowing for high-precision execution of complex rhythmic patterns. The tip shape is “acorn,” wooden type, providing clear articulation and a soft, warm sound on both toms and cymbals.
