The Sela Melody A Hirajōshi 10“ SE 370 (Black) tongue drum is a convenient and compact percussion instrument made of steel. Its diameter is 10 inches (approximately 25 cm). The instrument features rubber feet for stability and a protective rubber ring that prevents scratches and dents. The eight sound fields of this tongue drum are tuned to the Japanese Hirajōshi scale (A Hirajōshi), which originates from the traditional Koto instrument. This allows for the production of characteristic Asian sounds that immerse the listener in the atmosphere of Japan. All the notes of the instrument harmoniously complement each other, creating a melodious sound during play. Along with the Sela Melody A Hirajōshi 10” SE 370, you will receive two high-quality mallets with birch handles and rubber heads, allowing for easy sound production. The instrument can also be played with fingers. For convenient transportation, a special cotton bag with a velvet lining is included.
