The AKG D5 S is a professional dynamic vocal microphone designed to perform even under the most challenging stage conditions. Its frequency-independent supercardioid polar pattern ensures maximum gain before feedback.
The D5 S delivers clear, powerful sound that cuts through any mix, making it perfect for both lead and backing vocals. A dual shock mount system eliminates mechanical noise, ensuring a clean live vocal performance. The D5 S version includes a noiseless on/off switch while maintaining all the technical and acoustic qualities of the original D5.
It features a frequency range of 70 – 20000 Hz, sensitivity of 2.6 mV/Pa, and electrical impedance of 600 Ohms. Made of metal with a sleek dark finish, the D5 S comes with a balanced 3-pin male XLR output. It’s suitable for vocals as well as instruments like piano, strings, brass, and woodwinds.
Included in the box: D5 S microphone, SA61 stand adapter, and carrying pouch.
