Audix A133
The A133 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone ideal for vocals, choir, pianoforte, acoustic instruments and as an overhead microphone. With its modern compact design, the A133 is the ideal choice for podcasting, professional audio production, studio and live performance.
The 33 mm diameter fixed charge capsule housed in a precision machined aluminum housing and gold-plated diaphragm provides a wide natural frequency range. With its well-tuned cardioid radiation pattern, the A133 accurately captures performance details while suppressing room noise and other unwanted off-axis sounds.
The double woven steel mesh grille and ultra-fine acoustic foam provide exceptional resistance to explosive pops in podcasting and vocals. The open design of the capsule attachment system behind the grille allows the A133 to reproduce transparent sound without painting.
Patented control between capsule and circuit ensures stable and reliable operation over a wide frequency range. A unique and highly efficient internal shock absorber isolates the capsule from mechanical vibration and usage noise, eliminating the need for a bulky external spider holder. The A133 also comes with a zippered protective pouch. Requires 48-52 V phantom power for operation.
For best results, the A133 should be used with a high quality microphone amplifier and microphone cable.
