Sennheiser MKH 8018 is a stereo shotgun microphone designed for professional audio recording in film, television, reporting, and natural environments. The model features three adjustable stereo recording modes: MS stereo, wide XY stereo, and narrow XY stereo. LR-W and LR-N modes provide a choice between a wider or more focused sound capture.

The MKH 8018 is equipped with a symmetric, acoustically open push-pull transducer with a low-voltage diaphragm, ensuring exceptionally high sensitivity, a wide frequency range, and minimal self-noise.
