The Sennheiser MD 421 Kompakt + MZH Drum Clamp is an updated, compact version of the legendary dynamic microphone, designed for professional work with stage and studio instruments.

The cardioid pattern effectively isolates the target source, reducing intrusion from unwanted signals and noise, while the 30–17,000 Hz frequency range with an internal bass tube provides a rich, balanced tone across the spectrum.

With high SPL tolerance and fast transient response, the microphone performs confidently on toms and cymbals, in front of guitar cabinets, on wind instruments, and in any instrumental setup. The redesigned low-profile mount is rigidly fixed to the microphone body, ensuring stable attachment to a standard stand and withstanding intensive use.

The package includes the proprietary MZH Drum Clamp, which quickly and securely fastens directly to the drum rim, turning the MD 421 Kompakt into a no-compromise solution for drums.
