The AKG C519 ML is a professional miniature condenser microphone that easily clips onto the bell of a trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba, didgeridoo, or other wind instruments. Thanks to its tight cardioid polar pattern, it is ideal for use near monitor wedges, delivering natural, powerful, and clear sound with a flat frequency response.
The ML model features an integrated switchable bass cut filter that allows adjustment of the microphone’s frequency response for optimal sound. The package includes a 1.5-meter mini-XLR cable and the unique A400 adapter plate for easy mounting on wireless transmitters from the PT40/45/450/470 series.
The microphone offers a wide frequency range of 60–20000 Hz, an equivalent noise level of 31 dB-A, a signal-to-noise ratio of 63 dB-A, and an electrical impedance of 200 Ohms. The body is made of metal with a matte black finish. It is powered by phantom power from 9 to 52 V with a current consumption of 2 mA. The output connector is a 3-pin mini XLR.
Included in the package: C519 microphone, W44 windscreen, microphone bag, 1.5 m mini XLR cable, and A400 adapter plate.
