The Audio-Technica PRO35 is a high-performance, miniature condenser microphone specifically designed for brass, saxophone, toms, and percussion. Capable of handling extreme sound pressure levels (up to 145 dB SPL), this model is an ideal choice for loud stage environments where maintaining signal clarity without distortion is crucial. The condenser element provides an extended frequency response, capturing the subtle nuances and natural dynamics of the performance.

A key advantage of the PRO35 is its cardioid polar pattern, which focuses on the primary sound source while effectively rejecting unwanted noise from the rear and sides. This ensures excellent instrument isolation and minimizes the risk of feedback. The included AT8418 UniMount® clip allows the microphone to be securely attached directly to instrument bells or drum rims. The flexible gooseneck design enables precise capsule positioning while acting as a shock mount to protect against mechanical noise.

The microphone comes with a permanently attached 1.8 m cable and a separate AT8538 power module, which handles phantom power conversion and features an integrated high-pass filter. Activating the 80 Hz roll-off helps eliminate low-frequency hum and stage rumble, resulting in a more articulate sound. Its compact size and lightweight build make the Audio-Technica PRO35 virtually unobtrusive on the instrument, which is essential for active live performances where artist mobility is key.
