The sE Electronics X1 S cardioid condenser microphone is based on the X1 version. The electronics have been optimized to reduce noise, and a new 1 ”membrane capsule has been used to withstand up to 160 dB SPL. The wide dynamic range allows the microphone to be used in a wide variety of situations, including as a close-up microphone, even for the loudest instruments such as electric guitars, brass instruments and bass drums. Robust metal housing. The X1 S also features three, not two-way attenuator switches for -10 dB and -20 dB and an 80 Hz or 160 Hz Low-Cut filter. Gold plated XLR connector. Frequencies 20-20,000 Hz. Cardioid. At -30.5 dBV, the sensitivity is 30 mV / Pa. With the attenuator turned off SPL up to 140 dB. Signal to noise ratio 85dB. Equivalent to noise level 9 dB (A).
