sE Electronics Z5600A II is a tube microphone with nine polar structures. The Z5600a II large diaphragm condenser microphone is one of the most versatile tube microphones on the market today. With omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-of-eight polar patterns, 10dB pad switch and bass filter, this microphone is used in a variety of applications from live drum microphones to choral performances. The Z5600a II is a superb microphone that also excels in vocal recordings with natural warmth and incredible detail. The microphone is supplied in an aluminum case with a wooden microphone box, large spider holder, power supply and cable.
As with all of sE's true condensers, the Z5600a II’s gold-sputtered capsule is handcrafted and hand-tuned by skilled technicians in our own factory. This is almost unheard-of for affordable microphones, and is a great point of pride for us. The Z5600a II's all-tube design provides a rich, warm sound character reminiscent of classic vintage microphones, and its -10dB pad and low-cut filter provide the extra versatility needed to record just about any source.
