The Electro-Voice ND76 is a reliable, high-performance dynamic cardioid vocal microphone. Designed for voice performance, the ND76 capsule is precisely tuned to deliver crisp, clear and balanced vocal performance, as well as superior isolation from stage sound. The ND76 dynamic capsule contains a large mylar diaphragm that produces a rich and detailed frequency response through a combination of a large surface area for tonal balance and a low-mass, high-velocity material for exceptionally fast transient response. The ND76 is equipped with an innovative shock mounting system. The ND76 capsule uses a humbucking coil to reduce AC hum and EMI. Dynamic ND microphones can be safely used near speaker cabinets and racks with equipment that generates EMI. The ND76 Memraflex grating is made from a durable, dense mesh that can withstand extremely rough handling. Your microphone stays protected and looks good from gig to gig, year to year. For added protection, the ND76 capsule contains a hydrophobic fabric membrane that prevents moisture and debris from reaching the diaphragm.
