The Electro-Voice ND96 is a reliable, high-performance dynamic supercardioid vocal microphone. Designed for superior acoustic control on very loud stages, the ND96, thanks to special design and acoustic design, has the characteristics to get the microphone gain before feedback into the mix significantly louder than most microphones. The ND96's dynamic capsule contains a large Mylar diaphragm that delivers a rich, detailed frequency response by combining a large surface area for tonal balance and low-mass, high-rotation material for exceptionally fast transient response. The ND96 features a selectable vocal tuning that can reduce certain low-mid frequencies and emphasize key vocal areas in the upper mids for increased intelligibility while boosting high energy. The ND96 features an innovative shock-mounted capsule system. The ND96 capsule uses a humbucking coil to reduce AC hum and EMI. Dynamic ND microphones can be safely used near speaker cabinets and racks with equipment that generates EMI. The ND96 Memraflex grating is made from a durable, dense mesh that can withstand extremely rough handling. Your microphone stays protected and looks good from gig to gig, year to year.
