The Lewitt LCT 140 AIR stereo pair allows you to switch between two sound characteristics - AIR for record-ready sound, and FLAT for authentic recordings. Using automated production processes, you get a perfectly matched stereo pair at no additional cost. This is the only stereo microphone pair that has so many modes, namely 2 sound modes, low cut and pre-fade, as well as effortless professional studio sound.
AIR provides an open, sparkling character. This is the right choice if you want great sound without spending extra time on post-production. FLAT provides linear frequency response for authentic recording of drums, strings, and acoustic guitars. It is ideal if you are aiming for realistic sound character.
The brand carefully measures the frequency response and sensitivity of every microphone it produces. The measuring system controls the polarization voltage of the capsule to adjust the sensitivity, so it is the same for all LCT 140 AIR. The algorithm then compares the measured frequency characteristics of the microphone and finds ideal matches.
