The Sennheiser SKM 5200 II Ni-P transmitter is the next evolution of the world-class SKM 5200 handheld microphone. The transmitter’s design meets the highest standards of mechanics, electronics, and control.

The transmitter offers an extended switching bandwidth of up to 184 MHz, and the HiDyn plus™ noise reduction system minimizes RF noise, ensuring a wide dynamic range and crystal-clear sound. The SKM 5200 II Ni-P features both a fixed and a variable channel bank, with all parameters displayed on a backlit LCD that can be locked to prevent accidental changes.

The transmitter allows audio sensitivity adjustment in 1 dB steps from -40 to 0 dB. Frequencies can be tuned in 5 kHz steps, and operation is handled via a convenient jog dial. For improved interference immunity, a low-intermodulation (LoI) mode is included, along with a switchable low-cut filter.

The SKM 5200 II Ni-P operates on two AA batteries, providing up to 7 hours of runtime. It is compatible with all capsules and battery compartments of the 5000 series, as well as Neumann microphone heads. The model comes in nickel color, and the package includes the MZQ 3072 microphone holder, a set of KEN 5200 color markers, and a frequency table.
