Shure ULXD2/B58 is a digital handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with ULX-D and QLX-D receivers. It features a Beta 58A dynamic capsule designed for close-range vocal recording, with mid-range boost and low-frequency deflection to control the proximity effect. The capsule features a supercardioid polar pattern that provides high gain before feedback, maximum isolation from other sound sources, and minimal off-axis tone coloration. With a rugged yet lightweight aluminum housing, the ULXD2/B58 transmitter delivers uncompromising audio quality and RF performance, AES 256-bit encryption for secure data transmission, and advanced recharging options for professional sound reinforcement systems. It delivers clear and reliable 24-bit/48kHz digital audio over 100 meters away, making it ideal for live performances and presentations in music venues, houses of worship and conference rooms. The device quickly syncs with a wireless receiver via infrared at the touch of a button. Proprietary Gain Ranging automatically adjusts microphone input level, eliminating the need to adjust transmitter gain. The power button conveniently performs a mute function while maintaining RF blocking. Frequency and power lock functions prevent accidental or unauthorized changes to settings during events. The backlit LCD display with easy-to-use menus and controls allows quick access to frequency, group and channel settings, as well as mute and mute status, RF output and remaining battery life.
Operates up to 9 hours on two AA batteries. The optional Shure SB900B Lithium-Ion Battery Pack provides intelligent power management, over 8-hour battery life, accurate hours and minutes, and no memory effect. External charging contacts allow you to charge the batteries in the station using the SBC200 Dual Charger (sold separately). The SBC220 AC charger (purchased separately) allows remote power monitoring using Shure Wireless Workbench software.
Note: When purchasing individual wireless components, please match their frequency ranges to ensure proper system operation. Shure ULXD2/B58-K51 operates in the frequency range 606 - 670 MHz.
