Shure ULXD2/B87C is a digital handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with ULX-D and QLX-D receivers. It features a Beta 87C cardioid condenser capsule that delivers extremely flat frequency response with extended highs for vocal performers and presenters. The capsule features a cardioid pickup pattern that reduces rear and off-axis background noise, helping to control feedback. With a rugged yet lightweight aluminum housing, the ULXD2/B87C transmitter delivers uncompromising audio quality and RF performance, AES 256-bit encryption for secure data transmission, and advanced charging options for professional sound reinforcement systems. The unit delivers clear and reliable 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio over 100 meters, great for live performances and presentations in music venues, houses of worship and conference rooms.
The Beta 87C cardioid condenser capsule provides a gradual rise in presence and a controlled proximity effect for clear and intelligible vocals. The device quickly syncs with a wireless receiver via infrared at the touch of a button. Proprietary Gain Ranging automatically adjusts the microphone input level, eliminating the need to adjust the transmitter gain. The power button conveniently performs a mute function while maintaining RF blocking. Frequency and power lock functions prevent accidental or unauthorized changes to settings during events. The backlit LCD display with easy-to-use menus and controls allows quick access to frequency, group and channel settings, as well as mute and mute status, RF output and remaining battery life.
Operates up to 9 hours on two AA batteries. The optional Shure SB900B Lithium-Ion Battery Pack provides intelligent power management, over 8-hour battery life, accurate hours and minutes, and no memory effect. External charging contacts allow you to charge the batteries in the station using the SBC200 Dual Charger (sold separately). The SBC220 AC charger allows remote power monitoring using Shure Wireless Workbench software.
Note: When purchasing individual wireless components, please match their frequency ranges to ensure proper system operation. Shure ULXD2/B87C-K51 operates in the frequency range 606 - 670 MHz.
