Its extremely long battery life (30 hours) on a single AA battery saves you money in everyday use. The receiver is in an ultra-compact package and has a 1/4” Jack output.

The SR40 uses the SR40 as the receiver, which receives the signal from the transmitting device (transmitter) and transmits it to the mixing console or speaker system via the 1/4” Jack audio output. The versatility of the WMS40 Mini Dual Instrumental Set is that if you need to have several connection options (headset and handheld microphone), then you do not have to buy a separate radio system with the transmitter you need, just buy the necessary transmitter, such as lap or headset (Headset) and connect it to the existing receiver. This feature makes the system versatile in use and saves you a lot of money if you need to rearrange. The MINI series has SR 40 mini dual receivers that operate on two independent channels, allowing two transmitters to be used simultaneously (each with a separate 1/4 Jack audio output).

Radio systems operate on different frequencies. They are called ISMs and there are several variants. You cannot use two devices with the same ISM in the same room. This radio system operates on two fixed frequencies, ISM2 (864.345 MHz) and ISM3 (864.850 MHz). This means that when the AKG WMS40 is operating on ISM2, it cannot be used with another ISM2 radio system in the same room. The same goes for ISM3.
