The AKG WMS470 Vocal Set C5 is a professional wireless radio system with a handheld condenser microphone designed for demanding stage conditions and live performances. It combines high-quality audio transmission, a wide frequency range, and ease of use. The set includes the SR470 receiver and the HT470 handheld transmitter with a C5 capsule, which provides clear and rich vocal transmission with cardioid directionality, minimizing background noise and feedback.

The system operates in the 794.100–805.900 MHz range and allows up to 16 channels to be used simultaneously within a single band or up to 48 channels when using different frequency ranges. The built-in automatic frequency scanning function greatly simplifies setup, especially for beginners. Thanks to pilot tone technology, the system is reliably protected from unwanted noise when the transmitter is switched on.

The HT470 transmitter is powered by a single AA battery (alkaline, lithium, or Ni-MH) and provides up to 14 hours of continuous operation. With 50 mW output power and a range of up to 100 meters, the WMS470 is ideal for large stages and halls. The receiver is equipped with a balanced XLR output and an unbalanced 6.3 mm jack, providing flexibility for integration into any audio system.
