The Sennheiser EW-D ME3 Set (Q1-6) is a professional digital wireless system designed for singers, musicians, spoken word artists, presenters, teachers, lecturers, consultants, and coaches. It combines a compact EW-D EM receiver, a reliable EW-D SK bodypack transmitter, and a high-quality cardioid ME3 lavalier microphone with a head-worn headset.
The system operates in the UHF range with digital signal transmission, providing high reliability, free from noise and interference, and a minimal latency of just 1.9 ms. Its 134 dB dynamic range allows audio transmission without sensitivity adjustments, preserving every nuance of voice or instrument. The signal is processed in 24-bit format, ensuring crystal-clear sound.
System setup and control can be performed directly or remotely via the EW-D Smart Assist mobile app for iOS and Android, connected via Bluetooth Low Energy. The auto-scan function quickly finds free frequencies and ensures a stable signal even in complex environments with multiple channels.
The system supports a 56 MHz tuning bandwidth, allows up to 2240 selectable frequencies, and up to 90 microphone channels simultaneously. Operation lasts up to 12 hours with a lithium-ion battery (sold separately) or up to 8 hours with two AA batteries. The signal range extends up to 100 m, making it suitable for large stages and auditoriums.
