The Sennheiser EW-DP ME4 Set (Q1-6) wireless system combines superior audio transmission quality with ease of use and is specially designed for filmmakers, journalists, content creators, and live broadcasters. Operating in a stable and reliable UHF band, it provides significantly better range and interference protection compared to 2.4 GHz systems.
At the core of the system is the compact EW-DP EK digital receiver featuring a front-facing OLED display for quick parameter monitoring and intuitive navigation. It can be configured directly or remotely via the Sennheiser Smart Assist mobile app over Bluetooth, which greatly saves time on set. Thanks to the innovative magnetic mounting system, the receiver can be easily attached to a camera or stacked with multiple devices.
The set includes the EW-D SK digital bodypack transmitter and the ME 4 cardioid lavalier microphone. This microphone effectively isolates the voice from unwanted noise, ensuring clear and high-quality recordings even in challenging acoustic environments. For a more natural sound, the compatible omnidirectional ME 2 microphone, available separately, can also be used.
The system offers an exceptionally wide dynamic range of 134 dB, one of the highest in the industry. This ensures that every nuance of the voice is preserved without distortion, even under demanding recording conditions. With an ultra-low latency of just 1.9 ms, perfect sync between picture and sound is guaranteed. Additionally, up to 56 MHz of tuning bandwidth makes it easy to find a clean channel free from interference.
Powering the system is highly convenient: the receiver charges via USB-C, while the transmitter can operate either on the rechargeable BA 70 lithium-ion battery or standard AA batteries. Operating times reach up to 12 hours for the transmitter and up to 7 hours for the receiver.
