The Allen & Heath GX4816 is a 96kHz system expansion rack that provides audio input expansion for SQ, Avantis and dLive mixing systems, as well as AHM audio matrix processors.
This amplifier contains 48 microphone amplifiers with variable gain up to +60dB, phantom power function and -20dB amplifiers for line level sources. In addition, the GX4816 has 16 balanced XLR line outputs, as well as two DX ports for connecting additional DX amplifiers or ME personal monitoring systems.
This expander does not require complex configuration - just connect it to the mixer and it is ready to work. Firmware updates are done automatically. The GX4816 can be installed up to 100 meters away from the mixer, providing location flexibility. It also has integrated 5U 19" rack mounts.
This device can be used with dLive systems using a gigaACE card installed in a dLive MixRack or Surface. Additionally, when used with Avantis or SQ, the GX4816 can connect directly to an ME personal monitoring system via the DX2 port.
