The MIDAS DL16 system expander ushers in a new era in professional live mixing, combining legendary sound quality with the latest digital signal transmission technologies. This stagebox provides impeccable audio transmission accuracy, minimizing distortion and loss even when working in difficult stage conditions. Thanks to its digital format support and compact rack form factor, the DL16 is an ideal choice for touring systems, concert venues and professional studios.
At the heart of the DL16 are 16 high-quality MIDAS microphone preamps with +48 V phantom power, which inherited the technology from the famous PRO series consoles. It is these preamps that have brought the MIDAS brand worldwide recognition for uncompromising clarity and dynamics of sound. In addition, the device has 8 balanced analog XLR outputs, which allows you to create a flexible monitoring scheme without the need to lay dozens of cables on stage.
ULTRANET technology, developed in collaboration with Klark Teknik, Turbosound and Behringer engineers, allows you to transmit up to 16 independent channels of 24-bit digital audio and control data over a single CAT5 cable. This simplifies installation, eliminates crosstalk and makes the system immune to radio interference. Connecting Behringer P16-M personal mixers or compatible devices becomes extremely fast and reliable.
The DL16 ensures the scalability of your system: simply add another module on stage or near the drum kit - and you get an additional 16 inputs without a complex infrastructure. The entire system is connected via a single CAT5 cable, which greatly simplifies installation and transportation. This solution will be the perfect complement to any MIDAS or Behringer digital mixing console, guaranteeing professional results at every performance.
